Description

Khao Sok & Cheow Lan Lake - 2 days, 1 night in Khao Sok National Park, home to some of the oldest tropical rainforest on the planet. Day 1 combines a visit to Suwan Khuha Cave Temple and the elephant village with an afternoon longtail boat journey across the emerald Cheow Lan Lake to the floating bungalows — no mobile signal, no noise, just water, jungle, and the night sky. Day 2 brings a morning lake safari, Wat Bang Tong temple, and return to Phuket. Accommodation: standard floating bungalows on the lake.

Day 1:

  • 06:50 Hotel pick-up.
  • 08:05 Sarasin Bridge — panoramic viewpoint.
  • 09:20 Suwan Khuha Cave Temple (Monkey Temple) — stalactites, bats, and monkeys outside.
  • 10:30 Elephant village — choice of one activity: Elephant SPA (mud treatments, bathing, shower, baby elephant show) or elephant trekking with baby elephant show.
  • 12:50 Arrival at Cheow Lan Lake pier. Longtail boat departure across the lake. Stop at Guilin Rocks for photos.
  • 13:40 Lunch at a floating restaurant on the lake. Traditional Thai cuisine. Check-in at the floating bungalows.
  • 14:30 Free time — swimming in the freshwater lake, canoeing, fishing.
  • 17:50 Evening wildlife safari by longtail boat — monkeys, nocturnal cats, wild boars, rare birds.
  • 19:50 Dinner at the floating restaurant. Free time.
  • 21:50 Overnight in floating bungalows.

Day 2:

  • 07:00 Breakfast at the floating restaurant. Check-out.
  • 08:00 Morning lake safari by longtail boat — panoramic views of undisturbed national park nature.
  • 09:00 Longtail boat departure to the pier, sightseeing along the lake.
  • 10:00 Arrival at the pier.
  • 10:15 Cheow Lan Lake viewpoint.
  • 11:00 Wat Mahathat Vachiralongkorn (Wat Bang Tong) — one of the most vivid temple complexes in southern Thailand.
  • 11:30 Departure back to Phuket.
  • 13:30 Return to hotels.

Important to know

  • Children's ticket: 4-10 years old inclusive. Children under 3 years old — free, without a seat in the minivan.
  • Elephant rides are for two people per elephant. Small children ride with their parents.
  • Program points may be rearranged in a different order.
  • The program is suitable for everyone: children, seniors, and pregnant women.

What to take
