Description

A full-day trip from Da Nang to Hue — the former imperial capital of Vietnam, 100 km north along the coast. The route crosses the Hai Van Pass with panoramic sea views, stops at Pearl Lagoon and covers the main landmarks of the Imperial Citadel complex. 

Program:

  • 08:00 Hotel pick-up in Da Nang by VIP bus.
  • 09:00 Hai Van Pass: one of the most scenic mountain roads in Vietnam, panoramic views of the coastline.
  • 09:45 Pearl Lagoon: scenic stop with fresh oysters available on site (extra fee).
  • 11:00 Thien Mu Pagoda (est. 1601): walk through the historic grounds with views over the Perfume River.
  • 12:00 Forbidden Purple City: entrance to the Imperial Palace complex, symbols of the Nguyen dynasty era.
  • 13:00 Imperial Palace throne halls: imperial throne and ceremonial halls.
  • 14:00 Royal Library: reflects Vietnam's transition into a new era.
  • 15:00 Walk through the historic grounds and rest by the imperial pond.
