Khao Lak: Cheow Lan Lake & Khao Sok — Longtail Safari, Kayaking & Guilin Rocks

We went on a tour on June 22nd and were DELIGHTED! We were worried that a downpour would ruin the tour in the off-season. In the end, we were incredibly lucky, and that day was the clearest and hottest. The tour itself was wonderful, thanks to our guide, Andrey! We haven't seen such passion and enthusiasm for his work in a long time. He told us tons of interesting stories and facts along the way, and gave us tips on where to go and explore the rest of our vacation. We learned more from him that day than from anyone else! For those who haven't been to the lake, we definitely recommend it. The views are insanely beautiful! We saw animals, swam, took tons of photos, and were absolutely thrilled with the day! I'd also like to point out that the boat doesn't get seasick because there are no waves at all due to the location.

We absolutely loved it! The lake is stunning, we swam and kayaked, and saw monkeys along the way. The Russian-speaking guide was always full of interesting information, and it was very educational. At our request, he even took us to a place where we could see elephants. The Thai guide was fantastic.

The tour was wonderful and well organized. The bus arrived on time, and our guide, Dmitry, told us a lot of interesting things about the country and the places we visited. The bus was new and clean, and the departure and return times to the hotel were comfortable.

This isn't our first time in Thailand and we were looking for a new day trip. We really enjoyed the Cheow Lan Lake tour. Everything was perfectly organized, we were picked up on time, the driver drove carefully, the bus was comfortable, and the journey wasn't tiring. Special thanks to our guide, Andrey, for his easy, engaging explanations, and we learned a lot of new information. The lake is wonderful, with breathtaking views. Overall, we loved everything.

The excursion was a solid 4. The guide and company were excellent, but we expected more from the lake. We thought we'd be kayaking among the rocks. We took a boat ride in pleasant company, accompanied by the sound of the motor. The floating hotel wasn't impressive. The lunch was sloppy and not very tasty. But we still didn't regret going. The organization was excellent!

The tour was simply SUPERB! Our guide, Alexander, was fantastic, unforgettable, and the experience and emotions were simply off the charts! He treated us not as just tourists, but as long-time friends! I highly recommend him! Huge thanks for his professionalism and the organization from start to finish of this short, but unforgettable, trip to paradise!
