On February 19th, we went to Chao Lan Lake with Petr T. The excursion was fantastic in every way, from the views to the comfortable ride, which was important because it was a three-hour drive. Petr's stories made the journey more enjoyable, and the time flew by. I think we should add a separate section to the excursion description: "history lessons" about Thailand. Thank you so much!

A truly wonderful tour, a truly stunning location! We were lucky; there were only four of us, so the tour felt almost private. We were also the only people at the resort, so it was very cozy. Our guide, Andrey, shared many interesting facts about the country, answered all our questions, and was a wonderful experience. He also took some beautiful photos of the locations!

Description
Cheow Lan Lake is a man-made reservoir in Khao Sok National Park, surrounded by limestone cliffs and rainforest. The author full-day tour from Phuket includes a longtail boat ride across the lake, free time for swimming and canoeing, lunch on the water, and a stop at a treetop café on the return journey.
Programme:
- 05:00–06:00 Hotel pick-up from Phuket.
- 09:30 Cheow Lan Lake, Khao Sok National Park — longtail boat ride across the lake. Arrival at the recreation base.
- Free time: swimming, relaxation, and canoeing on the lake.
- 12:00 Lunch at the lake.
- 12:30 Departure from the lake.
- 14:30 Treetop viewpoint café — photos with jungle views; coffee and pastries paid separately.
- 15:30 Visit to a Thai herbal medicine pharmacy.
- 16:00 Departure to Phuket.
- ~19:00 Return to hotels.
